| I am originally from Jordan, pursuing my schooling and career in Canada for the last 6 years. To know more about me please check out my biography section.
- Can I use your art on my webpage?
Yes you can as long as you ask me for permission. Check my contact section for my email. There are some exceptions:
-Commissioned art doesn’t belong to me. You must contact the owner for permission.
-You are not by any means to do any changes to the art. Like resizing or cutting it into a thumbnail.
-Don’t link directly to my website. I will be able to send you a copy by email.
-You must add “copyrighted by Hala Zabaneh” anywhere you use my art.
- Can I purchase your art online?
As of now, I do not have an online store yet, for either original or print copies. But you are welcome to contact me, and we can do other arrangements.
Yes, indeed I do. Contact me for the arrangements.
- How much do I pay for commissions?
These are the set prices for the meantime (they are always in a subject of change).
- Negotiable for characters. (depending on the size of the drawing, and how many characters)
- $50 dollars to add a background.
- $50 for coloring by computer.
-$100 dollars for coloring by hand with watercolors, crayons, ink, or pencil crayons.
-Negotiable to own the original.
- What are the tools of your trade?
I mostly use pencil for my drawings. The other mediums I use are watercolor, pencil crayons, charcoal, pastels, and oil pastels. As for digital means I use Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Did you make your whole website?
No, I only designed the header of the website, my friend Paul Gonzales created the rest of the interface.
- How long does it take you to finish your works?
Depends on what medium I use, and how complex the idea is. It varies from 30 minutes to 40 hours or even longer. Usually my digital artwork takes me less time, than the ones I do by hand.
- Do you have any tutorials?
Not as of yet, but you can request it by emailing me. I won’t promise anything because it is the end of my major at the university, and I am getting ready for potential jobs.
Please, contact me if you have anymore questions.
